Shining World ; ooc community

If you pick up a character and don't post an IC intro for a full 7 days, you'll be auto-dropped! This is mainly to avoid people picking up muses and then forgetting they joined.

If for any reason you cannot make one post in the week following your claim, just let us know.

Your friendly-ish neighborhood witch is going to stir things up a bit this summer; many things are happening!

On the schedule this month is Cicada Hunting with nets, as well as a summer talent show. In addition, if you tend to hang around the jungle outskirts much at night, you may want to be careful, as there have been sightings of some scary looking animals with sharp teeth lurking... (If you'd like to have a monster from your character's world appear in the jungle, this can also be discussed.)

We recently added a guesthouse room listing and if you're not listed there, it's of the utmost importance that you reply! Otherwise, just let me know if you want a random roommate. PLEASE ALSO JOIN/WATCH shiningworld, beachesnshores & bermudatriangle! The latter is our logs community! Incidentally if anyone is competent with layouts and would like to make a layout for the communities, that would be cool!

Finally in response to the poll about applications, we will not be adding a mandatory app, since everyone seemed happy with the open claim format! HOWEVER, I have added an entirely optional app for those who would actively prefer one for sample writing and personality summary. CLAIMS & APPS ARE NOW A SEPARATE POST. The post is linked in the game profile.

As a footnote, please spam the FAQ with inquiries, so I can flesh out the game with whatever info you're lacking IC or OOC! I have a terrible memory sometimes so by now the FAQ might be a little out-of-date. And please, feel free to post looking for plotting, or reply to ooc posts! We need to get the community interacting to facilitate more activity. ♥ Summer's finally swinging in, so get a move on!
